The mission of Holy Trinity Catholic Church is to be a community of disciples of Christ that, guided by the Holy Spirit, brings God's transforming love to the world. Founded and administered by the Society of Jesus (Jesuits) since 1794, Holy Trinity is the oldest Catholic Church in continuous operation in the Nation's Capital.

The revision of the Roman Missal is complete, and the English version has been approved by both the United States Bishops and the Vatican.  What does this mean for Holy Trinity Parish and for all Roman Catholics in the US?

Planning is underway and we need your help to have an even bigger and better Fall Ministry Day. Volunteer now to help develope ideas for children's activities, entertainment, raffles and the opportunity for all to become better acquainted with the parish and ways to become involved. For the first time, we will be "open for business" after the Vigil Mass on 9/18. FYI, Saturday night's Ministry Fair will be done in "speed dating" style. Contact Ellen Toups at ellen.toups@gmail.com or Mary Lynch at mlynch@holytrinitydc.org for more details or to share your ideas and time.

Congratulations to the five parishioners elected to the Parish Pastoral Council: Diana Villiers Negroponte, Constance Herron, Joe Ryan, Don Daniel, and Maria del Pilar Londono-Kent.  They will take office at the Council's September meeting.

Camp Trinity will be held on September 24-26, 2010 in the beautiful mountains of Orkney Springs, VA.  Registration forms are now being accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.

Camp Trinity is a great weekend-away and all parishioners are invited.  Spend some time with fellow parishioners you might only see once a week at Mass.  Get to know the many wonderful people in our parish.  There will be lots of activities for children and adults.  Or you can just unwind and enjoy the fresh air and mountain walks.

The registration form and more details are available on the Camp Trinity page.
