Pierre Teilhard de Chardin was a French
Jesuit paleontologist who drew upon science and theology to
portray a powerfully optimistic vision of reality one
in which God was drawing all things to himself in the Body
of Christ. Remarkably, he died on Easter Sunday in 1955. His
thinking continues to inspire scientists and believers alike
with a call to hope and action for Gods great work in
the cosmos.
Fr. Tom King is a
renowned Teilhard scholar and longtime professor of theology
at Georgetown University. Hell share an Easter reflection
from the vantage of Teilhards thought.
