Committee Mission/Function:  The Development and Stewardship Committee provides advice and counsel to the Director of Development and the Pastor on issues regarding planned giving and other Parish-wide fundraising activities, and encourages stewardship as “a way of life” for parishioners.  Specific responsibilities include:

• providing technical assistance to Parish Staff regarding undertaking and implementing planned giving programs, pledge programs, and Parish-wide fundraising initiatives;



• developing strategic goals and objectives for fundraising initiatives;



• advising on the development of communication materials for Parish fundraising activities;



• providing advice on the development of appropriate reports for the Parish Finance Council and the Pastoral Council.
