As part of the leadership structure of Holy Trinity, the Pastoral Council maintains an Executive Committee and eight standing committees.  These bodies oversee and give direction to the broad areas of ministry in the Parish.

The members of the Executive Committee are the Pastoral Council President, Vice President, and Second Vice President. The Pastor serves as an ex-officio member of the committee.

The eight standing committees are:

Depending on the ministry itself, other groups, teams, or committees exist within a given ministry focused on a specific program or process, for example, a Liturgy Preparation Team or the School Advisory Board.

Holy Trinity uses the principle of subsidiarity -- keeping responsibility at the level closest to the area of ministry under consideration.  When someone wishes to raise an issue about a particular program or ministry, parishioners and parish leaders alike first present their concerns, problems, or expectations, to the staff person and team/group responsible; then, to the Pastoral Council committee which oversees its broad area of ministry, and finally (if not satisfied by the responses of the previous groups) to the Pastoral Council and/or Pastor.
