Committee Mission/Function:
The Worship Committee is responsible for recommending measures designed to promote the full, active, and conscious participation of parishioners in the parish's liturgical celebrations, including the training of liturgical ministers and doing liturgical catechesis among parishioners.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Promoting liturgical education and catechesis among parishioners
- Assisting the Pastoral Associate for Liturgy in the formulation of the liturgy budget
- Providing a forum for receiving parishioners’ interests and concerns regarding worship activities
- Attending to the needs of the diverse groups involved in the total Parish experience of worship
- Supplying overall guidance to the Liturgy Preparation Teams for each liturgy
Meetings for 2009-2010 are from 7:00pm – 9:00 pm
