Fr. McKenna Center

Holy Trinity's Sister Parish relationship with St. Al's involves special attention to their Fr. McKenna Center, which provides services for homeless men. These services include laundry, meals, reflection, showers, substance counseling, assistance in accessing government resources, referrals to social services and transportation assistance.

Holy Trinity provides an annual grant, occassional direct service volunteers, and monthly food drives for the McKenna Center. We hope to grow our numbers of direct service volunteers and to pariticpate in advocacy opportunities for lasting structural change, such as the issue of affordable housing.

The McKenna Center provides an opportunity to convert our hearts to the poor and marginalized, and thus, see more as God sees. They also provide an opportunity for HT parishioners to grow in love and justice, as we engage in building relationships and transforming structures.
