Social Justice Ministry Organization

Beginning in 2010, a Pastoral Associate for Social Justice will lead and manage the Social Justice Ministry as a parish staff member.  The Pastoral Associate works with other parish program directors to plan and implement an integrated parish program.

An Executive Committee consists of program leads (parishioners), a clergy representative, a Pastoral Council Representative and the Pastoral Associate.

-    Program leads work in defined areas and contribute to all major activities – Programs and Spirituality, Advocacy, Donations, Grant Liaison, Communication, Hospitality, Direct Service and School Relations.

A larger Ministry Committee meets once a month in the Fall and Spring – for education, information, community outreach.

In all its work the Ministry proclaims an ongoing call to conversion to the Church’s social teachings and to Jesuit spirituality.
