Holy Trinity will Twin with St. Jean Baptiste Parish in Haiti!--Nov. 2011
This is a 3 yr. plan with a re-evaluation of the commitment after 2 years. The focus is to partner with St. Jean's secondary school and to assist those children most unable to pay their tuition, which is about 75 kids this school year. More details of the plan: click here

2010 Activity
In 2010, the Holy Trinity Haiti Group decided to fund Hands Together: $914 to feed about 4000 meals, and $3,750 to fund five teacher salaries for six months. This short term assistance for Hands Together will be accompanied by a longer-term (at least 3-5 yr.) commitment with a school run by Jesuit Refugee Services. For this year, we will offer JRS $5,336 to build a pre-fabricated school.
There was a trip to Haiti in October 2010. Here are some traveler reflections. Here is a short video clip.
Haiti Group visit Holy Trinity School
On February 1, 2011 group members shared their experiences, pictures and stories of Haiti and played games with children at Holy Trinity School as a part of the Community Service Presentations. These presentations introduce the children to the people, including children, who live and work in different communities in the United States and around the world.
Please contact Sheri McGrath at spmcgrath77@gmail.com if you’d like to participate in the Haiti group. See the SJ calendar for the monthly gatherings.
