Lenten Service Opportunities

Dwell in Prayer - Walk With Jesus
                                           April 9 - May 14, 2011

Lent at Holy Trinity will include opportunities for prayer, reflection, education and service.  Our Lenten journey calls us as individuals and as a parish to recognize and respond to the needs of persons who are homeless and marginalized and to advocate for affordable housing.

Each direct service opportunity will involve a group of individuals from Holy Trinity working with a staff contact at an organization.  During each service opportunity the host organization will discuss its mission and the structural and cultural challenges their clients face.  Interaction with the clients will be part of the service.   Facilitated reflection will directly follow the experience if possible. If not, suggestions for shared reflection will be sent to the participants by email.

Unless otherwise noted, to register for these opportunities,  contact  Susan Watson Include your name, email, telephone number and the name of the organization and the date and time you have selected for service.    Questions?  Susan Watson at 240-506-1343.
