Prepare Mailings (several times / year), volunteer for phone-a-thon held in January. Consider serving on the Development/Stewardship committee.

Faith Formation and Religious Education
Ongoing copying and other tasks needed for programs of the department
Sorting and compiling sacramental preparation materials.
Sunday morning assistance with the Doughnut ministry.
Catechists for Religious Education on Sunday mornings (K-12)

Graphic Design – Volunteers are needed from time-to-time for short-term projects to help parish ministry areas design logos, flyers or brochures.  Contact:  Ana Kelly, Director of Communications, akelly@trinity.org

Volunteer Opportunities in Liturgy:
Lector:  Proclaim the scripture and leads the General Intercessions at Sunday liturgies.  Proclaim at various Masses once every 4 to 5 weeks.  Schedules vary by Mass time.  Training Sessions take place in the Fall of each year

Extraordinary Minister of the Eucharist:  Assist with distributing Communion under both species at Sunday liturgies.  Serve at one or two liturgies a month.  Training Sessions take place in the Fall, but individual sessions may be scheduled throughout the year, as the need is on-going.

Altar Servers (9:00 a.m. Mass, C and T):  Girls and boys, grades 5 through 8 assist the presider during Mass.  Serve at one or two liturgies a month. Must attend training as required.

Ushers/Ministers of Hospitality:  Welcome people to the liturgy, distribute song sheets, assist with taking up the collection(s), usher at Communion time, distributes Parish bulletins as people leave the Church.  Serve according to schedules for each Mass time.

Greeter (9:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Sunday liturgies only):  Welcome the assembly at the beginning of the liturgy and makes the Parish announcements.

Member of a Liturgy Preparation Team (LPT):  Work with others in the preparation of and maintenance of ministries for the Sunday Masses.  Meet once each quarter for each liturgy.

Music Ministry Volunteer Opportunities
There are many ongoing opportunities to share your time, talent and treasure in Music Ministry.

5:30 Ensemble: This ensemble sings at the 5;30 Sunday liturgy and rehearses from 4-5:15 in the Church.  Contact: Mary Lou Galvin

9 am Loyola Ensemble: This choir supports the sung liturgy at the 9 am Mass.  Rehearsals are Tuesday evenings from 7;15-8:30 pm in the Neale Room.  Contact: Dr. Kathleen DeJardin

Holy Trinity Children’s Choir: The 9 am Theater Mass is where you will find this choir-singing there once a month.  They rehearse most Saturdays from 4:15-5:15pm  in the Neale Room.  This choir accepts children in Grades 3-6.  Contact: Dr. Kathleen DeJardin

11:30 Ignatian Choir: This choir supports the sung liturgy at the 11:30 am Mass.  Rehearsals are Thursdays from 7:30 -9:30 pm in the Neale Room.  Contact: Dr. Kathleen DeJardin

Choirs with shorter commitments:
Holy Trinity Women’s Choir: this new choir rehearses one Sunday, from 2:30-4 pm,  prior to the weekend they sing, either at the Saturday Vigil or Sunday 1:15pm Mass.  Contact: Dr. Kathleen DeJardin.

Holy Trinity Triduum Choir: This choir rehearses the Thursday nights in Lent, from 7;15-8:30pm in the Neale Room and sings for the Holy Thursday, Good Friday and Easter Vigil liturgy.   Contact: Dr. Kathleen DeJardin
