Worship Staff

 

Pastoral Associate for Liturgy:  Jim Wickman, 202-903-2804

Jim is in his sixth year at Holy Trinity as the Director for Worship. He coordinates the Worship Team and is responsible for all liturgical ministries. His background includes nearly 25 years experience in liturgy and music on the parish and diocesan levels.  In addition to working at Holy Trinity, Jim is a Candidate for the Doctor of Ministry Degree at the Catholic University of America. 

Liturgy Coordinator: Courtney Mattison, 202-903-2806

Courtney serves the Worship Department as the Liturgy Coordinator.  She is responsible for many of the details of administration, and walks with wedding couples through the process of marriage.  Courtney holds a B.S. in Public Policy from Stephens College.  Before coming to Holy Trinity four years ago, Courtney worked on Capitol Hill, at Electronic Data Systems (EDS), and served as the Marketing Director for the College Football Hall of Fame.

Director of Music: Dr. Kathleen DeJardin, 202-903-2805

Kathy has served as the Director of Music since 2007.  Her work has helped to grow the music program and the numbers of people involved in the choirs to new heights.  Kathy has an extensive background of service to the Church in sung musical prayer in parishes from California to Maryland.  Kathy holds a Doctor of Musical Arts from the University of Arizona, where her majors were Choral Conducting and Vocal Performance.

Associate Director of Music & Principal Organist:  Tim Duhr, 202-903-2816

Tim joins the worship staff at Holy Trinity after four years as a parish musician and graduate student in Houston, Texas.  He is a candidate for the Doctor of Musical Arts in Organ Performance at the University of Houston’s Moores School of Music.   In addition, Tim holds music degrees from both University of Iowa and University of Notre Dame, where he worked as an organist in the Basilica of the Sacred Heart.
 
Director of 5:30 p.m. Sunday Choir: Mary Lou Galvin

Mary Lou has served as Director of the Sunday 5:30pm Choir since 1990.   She also teaches music at Holy Trinity School, and works with the children for all school Masses.  A graduate of Chestnut Hill College, Philadelphia, with a B.A. in music and history, Mary Lou also holds an M.M. from The Catholic University of America. In addition, she holds a certificate in Liturgical Studies from Georgetown University and Georgetown Center for Liturgy, Spirituality, and the Arts.
